Love vs. Success

LOVE(in terms of a relationship BF/GF or being married)

What is more important to you LOVE or SUCCESS? What in life do you cherish the most, would you rather be in love or become successful, If you could have only achieve one which would it be? By choosing love do you define yourself by the relationships that you hold with others or do you need that feeling you get when someone looks you deep in your eyes and tells you that you are the only one in the world for them and that they LOVE YOU. Or is it do you feel that you can not truly be happy if your “alone” or is it that you define SUCCESS by how your relationships turn out whether or not you can start a family. Do you spend more time and efforts looking for love trying to figure out why you’re alone more then you do making yourself better, working harder in school, or at work. If so why what makes finding and being in love so important maybe the lack of love growing up or maybe the abundance of love you had growing up. Were you spoiled always got what you want so you feel like you need that to define yourself or make yourself happy or were you ignored never had the type of family that told you they loved you on a regular? Or maybe you think that you only have a short time to fine LOVE??? Is that what makes you choose LOVE over SUCCESS???

SUCCESS

So now that we talked about LOVE lets now go over SUCCESS. Why do some people choose SUCCESS over love, is love not as important to them. Or do they think that LOVE can come at anytime and that you only have a small window to achieve your dreams of SUCCESS. Is it the money, power, respect or something else that makes you choose SUCCESS, maybe you just want to do something in your life worth wild something that will make you memorable to other? Do you want to be remembered for what you do or did? Is it that you rather chase your goals and dreams instead of caring about being alone because your SUCCESS in life is all you need? What drives you to strive so hard to chase your dreams and just ignore the need and want to be in LOVE? Do you become overwhelmed by your dreams that you have no time for LOVE and relationship? So what is the main reason for choosing SUCCESS over LOVE, maybe you think that with the lack of successful marriages and relationships in the world that it’s pointless you try to find love when more then half of them will end? Is it not SUCCESS that pushes to this side but past heart break and tears that have made you “cold to love” or do you just have no LOVE to give to someone else because the true thing that you LOVE is your dreams; maybe those dreams of yours will help change the world and make it better place help bring peace, wealth, happiness and LOVE to the world so in turn by you choosing SUCCESS or LOVE you feel that you can spread happiness and LOVE to others by ignoring your need for it? But if that is true then that would be all the LOVE you need, maybe you do not define “LOVE” by being in a relationship with someone but by helping others to live a better life. So is that what makes you choose SUCCESS over LOVE???

So what is your choose if you can only have one what will your heart choose???

USA Soccer Team

I would just love to take this time to show love and respect to the US Soccer team, for their big shut out win again the undefeated topped rank Spain team. I really do not follow soccer on a major level, but I do love to see when our teams do well. I wonder if one day soccer will become a mainstream sport like football, basketball, baseball, and hockey. But why is it that we as Americans do not follow and cheer for the sport of soccer like we do all others??? Is it the lack of scoring or "excitement" to us that makes it so unappealing? Or maybe its our lack success, but is our lack of success tied into our lack of following? Or is it lack of star power in the US, I've tried to get into soccer often but the long periods of time between scoring and game changing plays is just to much for me to handle. I do love the amazing footwork that is always on display. With that type of skill you would think it would bring a bigger crowd but it never does. Even with a "Star" like David Beckham could not bring fans to The Worlds favorite game. But maybe one day Soccer will become mainstream but it all rest on the shoulders of our National team because if they can't win then why should we care????

The Goddess

In time, Her entity will exist in waters slowly

From the African Belly

I have been meaning to write this one for a while...


Hear the beat
Of the African drums, which expand in the heat,
Made by ashen hands in the still of the night,
Melodic songs, which tell of a primitive plight.
Hear the beat
Of the African drums, which begin in the African heat,
And flow over chilled Atlantic waves,
Following paths once made by the African slaves.
Hear the beat
Hit the home of the kin of its player: the urban street,
Making foreign sounds that retell of the time
When began the white man's forever ongoing crime.
Hear the beat on the street
Hitting walls of concrete.
See the beat in the heat
As it sings of deceit.
Feel the beat repeat
The black man's defeat.

Deep down in Africa it all did start,
It was deep in its belly and not in its heart,
When the white man came down,
And enslaved all that was brown,
To toil far away in the cotton filled hills,
And work every day in their wooden built mills.
It was deep down in Africa, deep in its belly,
Where black men forgot what it means to be free,
Forced to hunt for ivory and dig for the diamonds,
Fearing the white men's superior weapons.

On the coasts of America it continues today,
Where non-white communities progressively decay,
Still enslaved by the white man's deceptions,
Like money and all of its false misconceptions,
Bound down by drugs and lost hopes of great fame,
All of which are collectively an elaborate game.
Ironically, the black man values all that is white,
A habit the white man himself in the black man did once incite,
Like valuing diamonds and silver and ivory and crack,
But to live and survive the black man don't need none of that.

Now hear the beat in the African belly,
Whose notes and whose sound can be heard from New Delhi,
It's so tense and so tight cause it sings of what could be,
Of a world where wronged races emerge from the debris,
And dance to the song that tells us that we're still free,
A song and a beat from the African belly.
